Product Advantages

EVS offers scalable block storage for Virtual Machines. This allows you to expand storage easily within seconds.

Highly Reliable

Distributed backend architecture, 3-copy redundancy, and 99.9999999% durability

Excellent Performance

Up to 128,000 IOPS and 1,000 MB/s of throughput for a single EVS disk

Elastic Scalability

Up to 32 TB for a single EVS disk, and online disk capacity expansion

Security & Compliance

AES-256 encryption, secure and agile, with no application awareness

Why EVS?

EVS disks of this type are suitable for data-intensive scenarios that require very high performance.

A Range of Disk Options

Choose from EVS disks with Extreme SSD, Ultra-high I/O, General Purpose SSD, or High I/O. Whatever the storage demand, there is always a great solution at a reasonable price.

Elastic Scalability

Increase block storage space, even if the disk is currently in use. In just a few clicks, a system disk can be scaled up to 1 TB and a data disk up to 32 TB, all without any disruption to the workloads.

Unmatched Security & Availability

Data on EVS disks is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Three copies of data are automatically created and stored on different nodes to ensure that data is always available.

Backup & Restore

Create backups for your EVS disks, so if data is ever lost or damaged, you can create new EVS disks or restore to the state as of the backup.

Real-Time Monitoring

Monitor disk performance using the free Cloud Eye service, which reports alarms and notifies you by email or SMS so you can handle the issues in a timely manner.

Data Sharing

Set up a shared file system or a cluster management system to allow concurrent access to one shared EVS disk from up to 16 cloud servers. Shared EVS disks are ideal for running clustered or high-availability applications.

Application Scenarios

Run virtually any business-critical applications or compute tasks on FWS
